CARET houses several research wings/sections lead by their respective Executive Engineers. Laboratories equipped with state of the art EDA tools and Test/Measurement instruments are the major facilities available in the organization. The fabrication laboratory is SMT technology compliant and has multilayer PCB making capabilities. The research wings are responsible for carrying out original research in their areas; Novel circuit/system designs and methodologies are the outcome of these wings. The organization is ready to take-up industrial consultancy and projects.
Research Wings:
1. RF & Microwave
This is one of the prime sections of the organization. It investigates and designs various active and passive RF/Microwave circuits for application in Satellite, Defense and Mobile/Wireless Communication systems.
2. VLSI & Microelectronics
2. VLSI & Microelectronics
This wing works primarily in analog domain and designs ICs with high frequency capabilities. It has access to all major EDA design tools. Various novel designs of LNAs, Mixers, Oscillators, Power Amplifies have been accomplished by the wing.
3. Automation & Embedded Systems
The section is large and diversified in context of applications. It designs systems for home and various industrial applications. Research on various digital systems is done here. Application based on Microcontrollers, Microprocessors and PLCs etc. are developed in this wing.
4. Communication Systems
Research from the systems perspective of communication is done in this section. New techniques of Modulation, Source Coding, and Channel Coding etc. are investigated and developed here.
5. Signal Processing
Different systems, which help in signal processing and conditioning, are designed and developed here. Image processing issues are also researched by this wing.
